Description
The very old spice originally comes from southern India. The herbaceous plant grows up to 3 meters high.
The capsules are used in different ways:
- opened and the seed is used - whole or ground

- The green bean is used whole.
Here are a few examples of usage:
- With coarsely ground sugar in the coffee, espresso or cappuccino, in the muesli or in the smoothy.
- As a spicy variant, with lamb or game.
